If you’re looking for Reese's LiveJournal, where she posts thoughts on writing, editing, publishing and other things (as well as a few bits of random silliness) that can be found at http://reeseszymanski.livejournal.com/. Reese's copy, direct mail, proposals and other types of writing have sold millions of dollars of products and raised millions of dollars for various causes. She’s an award-winning playwright whose every fiction-editing project has won or been short-listed for at least one award.

If you want to hire Reese to write or edit for you, your organization, or other entity—for copywriting, article writing, strategizing, direct mail writing, or anything else like or unlike that—pop over to the contact page. Information about Reese's upcoming signings, classes and other appearances can be found on the schedule page, which will be updated as dates are set. Right now she's been asked to teach at least two online classes in 2010.

Please visit often, since this site is constantly being updated, added to, and changed. Reese has been writing for a long time—her first books were published by Naiad Press and her first play was produced at the renowned Wharton Center for the Performing Arts almost two decades ago—so there's lot of stuff to add.

Reese loves hearing from readers, so feel free to use her contact page to drop her a line and let her know what you'd like to see here, or ask her how to get a bookmark, magnet or other book-oriented materials.

About Szymanski (and her writing)

I keep reading all sorts of different things about how to correctly describe one's site and the content thereof, so I recently realized that I should just take a small spot on my home page and talk about what I write, so that way people can find me!

I'm a writer, editor and designer. I do some proofreading, too. I do more print design than Web design, btw. As you can probably tell from this site. I've spent years in advertising, marketing, communications and management at nonprofits and for-profits. (If I ever get my other Web site up it'll be more about my professional work.)

This site is mostly about the writing and editing I do on the side. I write GLBT, lesbian, queer, gay stuff. Mysteries, romances, fiction, thrillers, erotica, essays, short stories, plays, novels, novellas, erotic, interesting. Things that are action-packed, supernatural, fun, dark, heartstopping, exciting, adventurous, hot, page-turners, funny, hysterical, sometimes based on reality.

Obviously not everything is everything. Something might be a hot supernatural story with no mystery whatsoever about it. But sometimes things cross lines and do more than one thing at a time. Often more than one thing at a time.

Oh, and I'm doing more work for hire, so folks can sometimes pay me to do things for them. Edit a story or a book or what have you. Also, going to be doing more teaching in the future I think, and will put up info about all of that as I go along.

But for now, this place, this space, is mostly about getting the words on the bloody site. At least for now.

Hope you enjoy the place!
